Fog light covers
#1
Does anyone knoe how y ufit fog lamp covers on a 99
have got some fiberglass ones from townsend, i drilled the hole where (i think) ther should be, ther is a hole hald made already on the bottom corner of the cover, yet it does not tally up with anyholes in the car, i have removed the fog lamp to see, and i thought it would screw into one of the existing holes that secure the lamp in place but its a good 2 inches lower.
ANy help?

i had exactly the same problem, i brought a set of covers with no fitting kit, i tried 3m double sidded velcro with no luck, but now i have made up my own brakets, and pushed in a treaded bush, i will try them at the weekend, if they work i will forward you on a drawing with dimensions, or i can make you same if you like,

cheers mate, I have had an idea, m going to drill a hole in the recess of the spot light, there is a metal plate behind the plastic, ill try use a self tapping screw to hold it in place.
Let me know how it goes
