Default Valve Timing MY00 Sti Type R

A friend of mine has a little problem involving the valve timing of the engine he is rebuilding. He owns the only MY00 Sti-R V-Limited in Germany, no Subaru garage over here, or Subaru Germany for that matter can give the valve timing settings he requires. I have got the Only P1 in the country, my dealership has the workshop manual for it from Subaru UK, does anyone here know are the settings the same?

These are the P1´s settings:

P1 :
Valve Timing :
Inlet = Opening 9° BTDC
Closing 53° ABDC
Exhaust = Opening 58° BBDC
Closing 10° ATDC

Are they the same on the MY00 Sti-R V-Limited?

Thanks

He has rebuilt the whole engine himself, he wants to be sure that the timing is correct.
I presume he is using verniers, although i have really only translated his question from a German Subaru forum, as no one over there can help him.
Question is really, does the MY00 Sti Type R V-Limited have the same valve timing as the P1? or is it different, if so does anyone know the correct settings.

Thanks

I thought that too, but wanted to be 100% sure, seeing as Subaru changed quite a few things every year.
Cheers Tony!.
