Default gearbox problems ,advise needed

last week my 94 wrx dropped a bottom end replaced that and it chewed its box.
got a replacement box and diff from a uk turbo
fitted the box left the rear part of the prop off as diff not been changed yet and tryed box/clutch to check every thing was ok.
all gears select fine
clutch feels fine
pulls off fine
but after over 20 mph car just revs higher and goes no were
theres no clutch smell and clutch that went in was not new but had loads of life left in it.
quick clutch test of trying to pull off in 5 and instant stall
before i start stripping box back out any one got any ideas
any advise would be much appreciated starting to wish i never touched it

Wrx and uk box and diff. something to do with drop gears. you really need an import box. Someone with a bit more knowledge will tell you exactly whats what...
