Default Blobeye pre re-map bits

I'm pieceing together bits for a re-map in the autumn probably sounds a bit dull buying things over such a long time but I'll won't get such a shock @the end!
I've got a cat back Tornado 2 exhaust
Walbro fuel pump
Prodrive sportscat DP bought 2nd hand on here

What I need help on is what's the rubber pipe fitted on the PPP(in the engine), what's the best de-cat up pipe, and what about the Prodrive boost solenoids any good or are there any cheaper/better ones out there?
Thanks for reading any help would be greatly apprieciated.

Hi Lee,

cheapest up-pipe is a 2nd hand STI item, or talk to harvey about his range of items...
Uprated boost solenoid (or 3 port) is only necessary for silly boost levels IMHO unless your car has boost issues already.

IMHO

hi mate, i recently had my 05 wrx blob remapped down at ScoobyClinic... all I had done was full 3" decat stainless system (turbo back), K&N cold air induction kit and a full tank of sainsbury 97.... map came out at 261.... if you get it mapped on vpower it would have got close to 270.... i was also advised to get a decat up-pipe, which i will do this summer :-)

Cheers chaps whilst I'm doing it I'll go new with the up pipe cos there not that assessable, what's the best thing to do drop Harvey a pm? I thought I read somewhere that it was a good idea to change the solenoid, but if it's not needed then that'll save a few pounds!!

Do you mean the Prodrive Y Pipe that is fitted under the TMIC?
You could go for a Prodrive one or a Samco one. Other cheaper makes can distort under boost so don't bother with them. The other part is the throttle body to TMIC pipe. [hardly worth changing imo]

Yeah that's it I just wasn't what it was called or fitted to, defo Samco all the way. I'll probably do a few more pipes in engine bay whilst I'm at it.
