Default opinions please

Recently my car has developed a slight fault, Its an 06 sti only done 12k. Problems is, in the last couple of days the battery, C.Diff and brake warning lights have come on whilst driving. They first started to flicker for a couple of seconds and then lit up. They have then come on sporadicly ever since. I have also noticed that the car feels like its going to cut out at low revs like when I manouver about on my drive.
My thoughts are that its probably just a bad earth somewhere. What do the scooby experts think?

Cheers.

Check all your earths. im a classic man so dont know much about newage. But it sounds altenater related. Check belt is tight and not slipping if all thats ok just get an auto sparky to test your altenator....

Sorted.....After watching the battery voltage on my PSi3 data monitor. When the dash lights lit up the voltage dropped to 11 volts so I new then that it was an alternator fault. It turned out to be a loose connection with the positive charging cable that attaches to the top of the alternator.
