Hi My 99 sti version 5 is giving me more grief!!!

There is a strange rumble coming from the intercooler area when reving the engine. it sounds like something is blowing but I have checked all the nuts and bolts and gaskets and everything seems to be fine. anyone got any ideas or had a simillar prob?

might be your exhaust blowing bud in the same kinda area

 

Ive had someone listen to it and thay think its the top end gone!!! can anyone tell me what this involves and anywhere good to take it in the bedfordshire area??
