hi just looking at new tyres for my classic scoob and was looking at avon zz3s anyone no if they are any good?
have been quoted £290 fitted by a friend of a friend for 4x205/45/16 is this a good price as i thought this was quite cheap?

 

dont do it. dont conpromise you car on cheap tyres.

 

Check out Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's on Camskill. Bloody good tyres for the price. I think 215/40 R 17 ones are only c.£70... so hopefully your 16" ones (if they do 'em in your size) will be even cheaper!

 

i thought these were good tyres ? have beentold they are eally grippy in wet and dry. is this not true?

 

I think the opinions on the ZZ3's are something of a mixed bag, from memory....

 

i have always found camskill very good and great prices and ahve also used blackcircles.com who offer 10% with codes and can deliver to your local tyre fitter with an inclusive price

right have just purchased a set o 4 x 205/45/16 for £290 fitted and balanced they are Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's is this about right price wise?
its £72.50 per corner which i didnt think wa too bad. got them for the same price as avon zz3s as he forgot to order them lol

 

Good price dont think you will go far wrong with that tyre choice
