Default Sti Prodrive downpipe on Wrx

Will a prodrive sportscat downpipe from a Blobeye STi fit a MY01 WRX. I think it should fit but will it perform properly ?

Will be getting it re mapped if fitted obviously.

Had a search about the site but couldnt find anything so sorry if this has been asked before

it will fit although you will more than likely have to trim back the shroud as seen in this link,

Whats the best way to go, Sportscat on the downpipe with the 2nd cat removed or decat the downpipe with a sportscat on the 2nd? Is there any difference?

sports cat downpipe, decat second pipe also you seemed to have missed out decat up-pipe will also need doing to see any real gain.

no worries it dosent have to be done is wise to it 1, for the gains 2, for safety as the cat could easily break up and make a mess of you turbo, there is also the risk of the EGT sensor in the up-pipe coming off again into the turbo.
