Default Sooty Exhaust...HELP!!!

Hi Can anyone help....
I drive a wrx 2003 and its done about 77k. While accelarating to about 5 to 5500 on the rev counter, it seems to be expelling a sooty smoke from the exhaust. The car drives great with the performance as good as ever. When driving in normal mode nothing is noticeable from the rear.
Thanks
Gandy

They are mapped a little rich and this can be pretty normal when accelerating hard

Good job you dont drive a diesel

Unless you notice any excessive oil or high fuel useage (apart from the obvious high fuel useage with a heavy right foot ) or anything else out of the ordinary, then its pretty normal
