Well ive had it on a 2002sti whereby if i ran it at motorway speeds (4th,5th or 6th gear) so not rev dependant, cruising with light throttle for a min or two then accelerated hard i could only get half boost unless i came off the throttle and re applied.

It was at the time looked at by Andyf, Who could clearly see that the boost was as i described, but couldnt work out why it did this. He loaded a new map and all has been good since, That was maybe 5 years ago now.

Turbotits

Legend has it the bug Denso ECU has a drive by noise reg bypass code that during testing limits revs and boost (hence noise). The test involves driving on constant throttle then accellerating. The ECU picks this up during "normal" driving and thinks it's being tested for noise and won't boost.

So the legend goes LOL
