how 240-290 bhp

i have a jap 94wrx the exhaust has been decatted with a hks rear box straight through pipe an arc technology air filter a turbo xs dump valve about to have a dawes device fitted could i fit a sti ecu to mine and get to 280 bhp and with the exhaust and air filter how come bhp has not changed much at present 245bhp any ideas would be great full

PMR, You're going about it the right way, Increase breathing then boost. You will notice a big difference with the Dawes Just be sure to use good fuel and try an ECU reset.

Not meaning to sound ignorant but whats a dawes device? I have never heard of anything under that name down here in New Zealand and ive been messing around in the subaru fan club for quite some time...

Cheers for that we just have a different name for them.... I know of lots of mechanical boost controllers but havnt ever heard of anyone refer to a dawes...... thanks
