Turbo Problem?
Hi all,
Have a Jap wrx classic........I was informed that the turbo and intercooler were full of oil and that i would need a new turbo by my mechanic shortly after he replaced the bottom end(about 3wks). Hes gone to Australia with my cash so i decided id tackle it myself...I removed the intercooler and the turbo today and it appears to me that the turbo is fine i.e. there is no play in the shaft!!! Is ther any other way to tell whether there is damage????
Also discovered the coilpack is cracked and was wondering could this be responsible for the car not boosting???
Thanks in advance guys
