Default fitting a sti tmic to a wrx

Hi All,

as above i just fitted a sti tmic to my wrx, however the intercooler doesnt seem to pull far enough down on the passenger side to get both the bracket bolts back in, so ive had to put in just the one on the outer hole, im sure i have read somewhere on here that this is the case can anyone confirm this , thanks

ive just had another go, still no where near about 10mm i reckon. what i cant understand is that the under tray lines up perfect with where it is now ? and all hoses are on fine, i think if i were to pull it down the 10mm something would give. ideas welcome ill try tomorrow, im too wound up to try again!!

have you tried fitting it without pipe from intercooler and throttle body? i found this was a right nightmare as it was so tight and needed alot of wiggling? just thought if you lined it up without pipe on it would give you some idea of how it lines up to the tb? straight wonky etc?

Did you change the Y pipe under the top mount? Your tansard WRX joint won't fit I believe. Also the hose to the turbo will be touching the TPS too.
