Hey everyone just wondering if you could point us in the right direction. My friend has a 1994 import sti and it seems to be running really rich?? he didn't notice at first but now his fuel/air mixture gauge goes through the roof everytime he accelerates and also it puffs clouds of blue smoke all beit they really smell like fuel and not oil!!

PLEASE HELP!!

the fueling is ot right it need to be checked out and sorted
i would get get the mapped checked out make sure everything is ok
i.e like the air flow meter as if this is broked it would cause it to smoke and run rich

Car currently not mapped, well not that we know of also if it was air flow meter would it not run really lumpy and not tick over easy?? it seems to tick over fine and revs easily? thanks for the comment though will check this out!

have you tested the lambda sensor?

Couldn't get it out! have got one to replace it so that's the next step! could it just be that?? will keep everyone posted
