Default help me with my ecu

hello i have just bought a stage 3 chip for my ecu i have a subaru impreza wrx 2.0 turbo 1995 i want to know if im able to swlot the chip in and where or solder it and where can you give me illustrations please

did the chip not come with instructions??

who did you get it from? have you asked them for instructions?

Hi, the chip normally slots into a 30 pin carrier that is normally soldered on to your ecu board where the empty space is in the bottom right hand corner of the board as you look at it with the yellow connection port at the top.

OP, do you have any info on this chip? Most chips are of unknown quantity and you could be risking your engine, if, say, it's a Jap Mines one or similar. They typically have an aggressive timing map and require in excess of 100 RON, to run the engine safely etc.

We'd really need to know what the actual chip is you intend to fit...........
