Default perfect launch

can anyone give me any advice on how to achieve the perfect launch from my WR1?

1st gear. 5K revs, let the clutch out until nearly biting point . increase the revs and let the clutch out whilst mashing the accelerator into the floor. get ready to change into 2nd. feed the gears until stopped by by the five o

will this be the same for a 99 classic, as i am going to york to run it down the strip for the first time tomorro

what sort of power do you have. watch the clutch and chocolate gearbox

I find that 3500rpm, and releasing the clutch very quickly (almost dropping it!) as I mash the pedal give a good start.

If you have the power to get a lot of wheelspin, keep your foot in and stay in gear until the wheelspin dies down. If you change up because the engine is hitting the limiter as the wheels spin, you will bog down.
