Question

Hi just wondering if anyone knows if the bottom hose to the boost solonoid can be left hanging free rather than being fed back into the air intake? I have redesigned my inlet and wondered if its worth drilling a hole to fit the tube which feeds from the bottom of the 3 port solonoid or if it can simply be left hanging free.... any ideas?

No problem. It just bleeds air away.
As long as the intake no longer has a hole to suck in dirt.

But isn't this air already metered and normally fed back into the system after the MAF? Means you'll be running slightly richer than necessary IMO....this may be a good or bad thing depending on what you want to achieve
