Default idle control valve

hi all, am wanting to clean the idle control valve on my 1997 impreza sport as it is idling up and down,it has covered 130K so it could do with a good clean out,thing is i dont know where the bloody thing is or what it looks like. so please guys if you got any ideas as i need your help.

Just unplug the connector then undo the two screws

will i need some sort of o ring,and wants the best thing to clean the valve will and how long for,,thank you..
