Default remap for 2008 STI hatchback

What the best exhaust/air induction to get for a 2008 STI before getting a remap done.

Who's best to do the remap? I live in Aberdeen so I'm after some one close-ish.

Can anyone recommend a garage in the area for servicing? Town and County charge a fortune for not a lot!

Cheers

Mark

As far as mapping goes, I used Andy Forrest. He's down by Edinburgh but well worth the run.

Cool Re-Map

Been thinking about re-map.

Wallace Performance do one for around £400, they recommend changing the fuel pump, although Andy says not till 360bhp.

I have pipercross filter fitted and Hayward and Scott 4" twin tail full system.

Waiting for some extra cash and fitting a hi-flo downpipe and remap ecu and hoping for around 350bhp

I'd read the post by Elitek before I did too much to a STi hatch before I took the tuning too far. With OEM piston's still fitted it's pretty much not if, but when it goes pop

Not aware of them failig once tuned, subaru will tell you otherwise though.

Fuel pump if fine as standard but wont hurt to replace for piece of mind.

Standard airbox and filter upto 345ish, standard airbox with panel filter cosworth for example around 350bhp. Standard/ppp/catback exhaust dont seem to make massive odds all work well. Decat and induction can see 370bhp but it is the torque that makes a good hatch, upto 400lb achieveable easily.

Me neither, mapped quite a few hatches.

Personally I think the facts show that there is more chance of damage with the std or ppp map

Really nice car when mapped IMO
