turbo differences
HI,
WITHOUT ME SOUNDING ABIT THICK, WHATS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN TURBOS IE,16G,18G ETC. IVE JUST BEEN LOOKING ON LINE AND NOW REALLY CONFUSED ! (DOES'NT TAKE MUCH)

The 16g, 18g, 20g refer to the impeller wheel sizes. The bigger the number the bigger the wheel. The TD05H 16g pushes enough air for for upto c.350bhp; TD05H 18g c.350-380; TD05H 20g c.380+
Depending on the size of the wheel, usually means a larger compressor housing to match, too.

ones smaller(16g) so would spool bit quicker than say the (18g) but be less bhp/torque/topend power against the 18g,depends on what mods you have i suppose and what you want out of the car,some people want a quick spooler and acceleration as aposed to top end mph with lots of mid range,weight of the car has a lot to say with what turbo you choose to.
