Evening all, im just looking for some advise,my 97 wrx started pouring a dark smoke out off exhaust seemed to be blowing oil from back off engine. possibly near oil switch. any pointers would be welcome,or advise? just off to do a compression test now!

 

how do you mean???
if its blowing blue smoke - its burning oil - could be loads of things - piston rings,valve seals
black smoke can be overfueling, or just crap in the exhaust
does it do it all the time ??
