My car is reluctant to start. Turns over but takes 3 x 10 seconds to fire. It has cut out in traffic shortly after leaving work. Seems to run smoothly once warm/idling. Any help appreciated

Coolant temp sensor? Might not be putting out voltages representing cold start/rich fuelling?

Classic symptoms of a faulty coolant temp sensor.

Does this mean that you've had a remap very recently??

If this is the case then it is likely that the map needs adjusting.

If on the other hand you have have changed nothing & the problem has just appeared from nowhere the coolant sensor is still favorite.

 

No adjustments to the map recently and the problem has just started, so hopefully not the map
