Exclamation HUGE CLOUD OF STEAM!!

whenever i drive through a largish puddle, i get a huge cloud of steam behind me from where the water hits the exhaust. its not happened yet but i would imagine that it could be quite dangerous if someone was following me, anyone have any ideas how to avoid this happening? ie heat wrap or something? also this happens with the headers and steam pours out all the bonnet vents!! help

thanks
Arran

Carry your work shirts and a travel ironing board in your car.

Heat wrapping would probably mean it would steam for longer, as the heat wrap would soak up a bit of the water

I think you need a steam dissipator. This consists of 2 high volume 12v fans and ducting and as the title suggests the steam is blow out either side of the car instead of escaping from underneath the rear. There are various options on the ducting.
The alternative is to go through the puddle or stream fast enough for nobody to be following you.

I prefer the second option
