Default Oil temp..

hi guys.

i no with the weather now a little better that the oil temp will get warmer quicker but this morning i noticed after 10 mins of driving on the motoway at 60 mph that the oil was at 110c or 230f not hitting the red on my gauge but getting up there.
what sort of temp is normal?

this is on my RB5..

cheers guys
Daz

Mine has never seen 110c to be honest and after about 10 mins will only get to about 75c. When driven hard for a while it can get up to around 100c, but then your car is more of an animal than mine.

BTTT for someone to come and confirm if this is something to worry about or not

Abbas

My classic ran 80-90 degrees all day with a mix of hard driving and town. I NEVER saw it over 100 degrees until the day it died, when it hit 120.

It was running a fair bit over standard bhp too.
