Default apexi pfc

i'm thinking of getting a re-map for my version 2 my96, but prices are in the region of 500 plus, i might as well get the apexi pfc, but i'm a gadget freak and if i have the remote commander i'm likley to bugger this up, if i just by the ecu what benefits will i get from it, i have the avcr boost controller atm will it link to the ecu or still run stand alone

You have to actively go into the various sub-menus under the "Settings" menu and then fiddle about with the values and THEN press "NEXT" to save the changes!

Do you really have that much of a OCD problem lol?!

You can also reset the ECU under the "Etc." menu. But once again this involves a few conscious and deliberate key presses, so it's highly unlikely you'll bugger the map up/lose it by accident... Unless, of course, you simply can't "trust" yourself.

The settings can be locked when the ecu is mapped with FCEdit software, if required. - This will prevent you from changing anything.

The AVCR runs standalone, and independant from the PowerFC - However they work well in conjunction with each other.

I didn't realise this!

I might get that done myself, after my next round of mods are fitted/mapped.
