Question heads gone off

One of my cylinder heads was weeping so decided to get engine
work done( full rebuild with all forged internals, turbo,ECU,the works)
so was surprised to find out that 1 of the heads could not be skimmed
as it has gone porous it was sent to Prodrive and found it was US.
Anybody got any ideas? or should i get intouch with Subaru themselves?
its only 4yrs old and 40,000mls

You can try an approach, but tbh I think you'll get nowt from Subaru/IM.

Breakers or e-bay would be a place to start looking for a replacement.

If your garage has changed the heads, ask nicely whether they checked that the compression ratio is still ok. RATIO, not just compression.
Getting it wrong can be fatal for the engine
