Modifying A GB270 help needed
i brought a GB270 a month or so ago and so far love it to bits...
But im putting a list togther at the minute of things to buy come june time..
I would like it running somewhere near 340-350bhp and 400lbft.
More if possible
What kind of gains would i expect from all of the following combined, i know this has probably been asked before but after searching for the last hour im still non the wiser:
1. Uprated STI VF34 Turbo
2. STI Top mount
3. KnN Panel Filter
4. Uprated Walbro Fuel Pump
5. Uprated 550c STI Pink Injectors
6. Turbo Back 3" Exhaust, first cat removed, second CAT sports cat
7. Then Remapped to suit
Anyhelp will be much appreciated
Thanks
Rob

1. Uprated STI VF34 Turbo - Yep
4. Uprated Walbro Fuel Pump - Yes if going with turbo
5. Uprated 550c STI Pink Injectors - Existing injectors are already 550cc
6. Turbo Back 3" Exhaust, first cat removed, second CAT sports cat - Sports cat usually replaces the first cat, this is more effective and doesn't hurt power, do away with any other cats
7. Then Remapped to suit - The crucial bit!
It's borderline as to whether the plugs are required, most people jsut go for the ILFR7H at service time.
2. STI Top mount - Not essential to start with but worth about 15hp over std and certainly recommended
3. KnN Panel Filter - I would go with a cosworth or other dry panel filter4. Uprated Walbro Fuel Pump - Yes if going with turbo

modified gb270 for sale
dealer in scotland has 07 plate gb270 modified to 350bhp he tells me, i'm bit clueless as to what i'd be getting myself into, and would appreciate any advice. It's a wagon btw, and currently driving leon cupra (240bhp version) on 08 plate, this would be my first venture into 4wd, and wonder if i should be looking at unmodified instead, especially given my lack of knowledge in these things
