Which pipe(s) is decatted - up, down or both? Normally sport-cat on down-pipe and decatted up-pipe will get though MOT and provide good flow, not sure about other combinations.

TSL's decatted down-pipes are supposed to be the closest thing to the Prodrive model, for classics anyway.

It will not fit on it's own it's too long for the Hawk STi, you will need the short decat second pipe also. Some people have had issues fitting the PD one to Hawks but I am sure they can be modified.

3 options.

1. Put the standard DP back on and get it remapped. Allegedly the MY06 DP flows better than the previous model catted DP's. From some of the results I have seen this seems to be true. Sports cat do marginally better but not so much as to justify the cost of one.

2. Buy a Sports cat for the MY06 and get it remapped.

3. Find an understanding MOT test centre, there are loads if you ask the right people.
