Turbo 2000 engine into Wrx
Whats going to be needed to get a Uk Turbo 2000 engine to work in a
1995 Wrx.
Not what i really want to do but i have just found out the engine i have fitted into my car is a Turbo 2000 engine and not a wrx one which it was sold as.

i would say at least the ecu and all the ancillaries but im not 100% there is prob more as i think the compression ratios etc are diferent would you not be better off selling the engine that you have and finding a wrx one that will fit?

Ive only justed fitted all the ancillaries and put the engine in so id rather try get this one to work if i can. If not then i will have to sell it and get the right one.
I still have my old engine but it has lost compression on one of the cylinders. I guess with the two of them i must be able to make one working engine.
Its meant to be from a 1995 Turbo 2000 and my car is a 95 Wrx and still using the standard wrx ecu.
