Cold start issue
Hi:
My car, a MY95 Impreza Turbo is having a idle issue. In order to get rid off the poor turbo inlet design I replace the inlet manifold with a phase 1.5 manifold taken from a Legacy TT. Also, because of the IAC hoses routing, my mechanic decided keep the IAC valve from the Legacy TT manifold.
Now when a cold start the idle only gets 900 RPM wich is supposed the warm idle RPM not 2500 RPM wich used to be with the original IAC. Also the engine stalls when the A/C is turned on at idle. It seems the Power FC is not sending a signal to the IAC in order to increase RPM when there is a electrical load or at the cold start.
Does anyone knows what could be done to get the idle works as used to be?
