Rebuild help/advice
Okay my first scoob died after only driving 60 miles and having taken apart it's bearing failiure.
v3 with a v7 bottom end. Crank is beyond help so new one deff needed. Oil cooler, can these be flushed or is it just buy a new one. Oil pump is standard so to stop this happening again I'm thinking Cosworth or roger clark? Bores are marked so needs machine work and pistons. Anyone point in the direction of where to go?
For the crank and bearings Subaru New Nitrided CrankShaft EJ20 & ACL Race Bearings on eBay (end time 27-Mar-10 11:49:24 GMT)
Luckily the works being done by someone I know who is a expert with skylines, but this is his first scoob so learning process for us both.
