Default New member and need help!!

Hi my names martin...

I bought a subaru 2.0 turbo m reg import i believe thats 1994 or 95
All im after is a code reader or cable so that i can read the error codes from my car..just i read that obd2 supports 1996 upwards or can i still use that ?????


just i dont want to buy something that might not fit
Any links or advice would be great guys and gals

there are plugs under the dash to plug together and this will flash the CEL and give you any fault codes.

So if i bought the obd2 code reader would this work for my car??? as its year is between 1994 to 1995....Just i read that the obd2 reader works from 1996 upwards and might not work on older cars...

So has anyone tested this obd2 on a older year subaru ???

obd2 no good. just plug the plugs under dash together and count the flashes. lomg flashes and short flashes, then look at the guide thats on here and work out the code. Hope this helps....
