always worth a remap with any mods mate. plus your get the extra 30+ horses maybe with the remap. anything changing the airflow or fuel flow is defo for a remap. hope this helps

Ecutek remap around £600.It will transform the car. I went down that route after the alleged 261 PPP.The ecutek is light years ahead of the PPP eneric one

thanks for comments guys, think i'll have to make a trip to powerstation. heard they have a good reputation. running car on vpower as well seems to run better and better fuel economy.

Remap all the way mate. Funny i was just gonna post my remapping experience.

On my hawkeye wrx i decatted the downpipe and changed the center section and backbox (still legal). Hawkeye well quiet and muffled - had to change that

I got the desired sound that I loved but it become a bit sluggish, just didnt seem to work in harmony. Had more flat spots and lost its kick back.

I did a bit of research and got peoples opinions and everyone pointed to remapping. I was sold on the idea but the next question was reamp or ecutek and who to do it?

After a lot of reading and getting peoples opinions etc, I chose Duncan at Race Dynamix - Trust me mate this bloke is a blo*dy legend. The car feels like a totally new beast. I cant explain how much the hole performance feels better. The turbo seems to be massively improved and the torque is brilliant.

In a nutshell mate, get a remap (I promise you wont be disappointed) and if you're looking for who to do it mate I would recommend Duncan.

It put a massive smile back on my face
