Another question for the experts in the house. Appoligies for my lack of knowledge. Ask me any questions about honda and ill answer but im trully a subaru NOOB.

I have an afterburner vortex exhaust system (Scooby clinic). however i feel that after a decat and remap the exhaust is going to be alot louder. I have a wife and baby on the way so would like something that sounds closer to stock.

Can i mate an STI backbox to the vortex centre section? Will the flange fit? Will it line up to the exhaust mounts??

Why dont you just use a silencer bung?? Then you can wap it out when the family arnt with ya!! Thats what I did untill my daughter turned petrol head at about 12 months old! and now its all "faster and louder Daddy!!".
