Intake question (sti V2)

Hi all, just wanted to know what this is that ive ringed?

Just wondered if i needed it or could get rid of it?

Hi mate its a resonator box, its quite restrictive alot of people fit a apexi power intake kit which comes with a less restrictive replacement for this

get rid of it makes it feel nicer to drive and sound great this is my v2 sti set up

mbd that's a gorge v.1/2 bay you have there.... shame the dirty/oily yellow vital-fluids lids are letting the side down
