Default windscreen..

hello all - just had a new screen on my Hawkeye Wagon through Auto Windscreens. All perfect apart from the final cosmetic rubber gasket seal around the edge, which has ripples along the top - as if it's slightly incorrectly sized. It looks less than sharp unlike the lovely fresh Pilkingtons glass beneath it.
Will this bed in, shrink or acclimatise and tighten up a bit, or should I get them back to refit it?

Also fitting some front Aero Splash guards this w/e, body coloured. Will post a pic if anyone's interested.

£50 through my insurance, so not too painful. Just a bit disappointing when you expect total satisfaction and instead you get 'to be honest' about 100 times - and we all know what it means when someone keeps saying THAT. quite why a direct OE replacement is NOT perfect is beyond me. maybe Auto Windscreens buy in cheaper material as a substitute, wouldn't surprise me. Some swine's also just given me a rear door ding, and I an VERY careful about parking. This above most other things makes my blood boil with anger. The car was spotless this time last year.
