Default Newage vs Classic Power Steering Pump

Does anybody know which newage PS pumps will fit a classic?

I need to replace mine, but fancied one a little newer than a classic.

Thanks
Bo

Depends what you mean. They'll all fit provided you also use the appropriate fluid lines, reservoir and mounting bracket. None of them are a direct replacement for a classic pump.

Right OK,

Talk me through it. It's a P1 so V5 / V6.

Tempted by a direct replacement, but I would like a newage one.

If it's too much expense/agro Ill go for a replacement.

Can't see reservoir, mounting bracket being a problem, whats new with the fluid lines?

The supply fitting on the newage pump(s) is in a different place and orientation than on the classics so you'll need either a newage supply or else have a custom one made.

Similarly the return needs to be relocated to wherever you're going to mount the reservoir. Again a newage one is the obvious choice if you're going to fit an OE fluid reservoir.
