coilovers on a classic
hi there
just a quick question , ive been offered a set of coilovers for my classic , my standard ones weak now after 147000 miles , i run a set on our rally car and they are good for that .
But what im wondering is do you think they will make the ride to hard on a classic that im using every day to go to work in , mixture of all roads .??? just dont want my teeth to fall out .
any ideas ???
or should i just get a set of new shocks and leave it standard .
cheers rich

Personally, I found coilovers to be too hard for UK roads, but then again I normally drive a Mondeo diseasal as my daily transport. I think you would be better off with standard WRX shocks & maybe lowering springs. The other option is STI shocks or the Bilstein/Ebiach units from a P1/WR Sport.
