hi all i have a 95 type ra and im looking to buy a new clutch. the thing is ive seen these organic 1s on ebay and i was wondering if there any good?? or if i should just go for a standard excedy 1?? any help will be appreciated.

Apparently API's own moddifed Exedy Organic is a good choice for <400bhp/400lb ft. It's supposed to not cause any judder either.

Hi Rich,

If you are running 300+ you'll want an uprated Exedy Organic, otherwise a Exedy OEM replacement organic clutch will do the job nicely.

The Exedy OEM organics and the Exedy Uprated Organics that we sell do not judder.

to be honest if your running standard power a ncie blue print clucth will do you fine i ahd one of these runing 320 bhp for some time and it even took 350bhp for 8 months and it want cost you more then about 170.00 from any auto factors that stock blue print parts god stuf oh and i lok forward to fitting api 400 / 400 clutch tomorrow which is there own uprated version of a proper genuine exceedy to start with as most place dont sell them cheers dave at api p.s dont buy of ebay not worht the hassle dude
