My 93 impreza gasket leak
I know it's quite common for the cam cover gaskets to leak.
It's dripping on the manifold, giving a burning smell when it's hot!
I have a my93 WRX import
How much?
How to do the job myself, And what parts do i need please
loctite 7910
Gasket ect....
cheers nick

You should be able to get a gasket set from the dealers. For each side, you need the big gasket to go round the cam cover, as well as two gaskets for the spark plugs and 6 bolt gaskets. It might also be worth getting the two 'half moons', which are solid plastic, as these sometimes crack.
You don't need much sealant, just on the corners, really. The main thing is to make sure the gasket surfaces are completely clean before you reassemble everything.
If you can change the sparks plugs, it's pretty straightforward. Take out the coil packs, undo the cam cover bolts, pull off the cover, remove the old gaskets and clean. When re-assembling, don't be tempted to over-tighten the bolts, but do notice that the gaskets squash down as they are tightened.
