Vibration in 5th

Vibration in 5th
After going for a nice sensible drive along some lovely b roads in cornwall last week end the Ra has not been right since 
It was fine the entire time of driving but when i drove it later on that night i was getting noises from the front brakes and vibration in 5th gear i checked every thing as in mounts drive shafts brakes-disks even wheel balance but still can`t get my head round it.
Tested the car in different gears at same speeds and it deffinatly only happens in 5 th gear
Has any one got any suggestions i did think maybe gear related as the car spends alot of time in 5th
