Well.... I think (and I totally stand to be corrected)???...:-
1 (or 2?) is selected for the OEM MAF.
3 = Z32 MAF
4 = Q45 MAF
5 = User definable, probably??
- If you have a MY93-96 ph.1 your OEM green label MAF should get you to 350bhp anyway - but it could be marginal. (I witnessed a 1995 Type RA make 378bhp (on a big turbo) and its OEM green label MAF, when Paul at Zen worked his magic about 2 summers ago).
- MY97/98 ph.1.5 orange label is good, I believe, for around 480bhp (it performs all but the same as the Z32 MAF. The Q45 one has a bigger 90mm MAF tube and can do 500bhp I think).
- MY99/00 have a dfferent "cassette/film"-style MAF but don't know what it can flow?
Replacement non-OEM MAFs have to be correctly wired to the ECU loom and scaled in a remap...

So there is no benefit for just change the AFM to a Z32? i thought will be...like fast acceleration or better trottle response and max out my ihi vf22.
