I reckon that 350 bhp would be about as far as you could go on standard sti internals (to be safe) and then the limiting factor would be turbo and injectors.
Not sure if the standard ihi sti 5 turbo can make 350 or not
I think sti 5's run 440 injectors so you may need to upgrade to 550's to be safe.

I've have the same car mate.
To give you an idea, mine is running 335bhp & 333ftlb with the following mods.
decat down pipe, blitz nur spec, walbro pump, green panel filter, harvey smith ported headers & up pipe then an Ecutek remap.
Just don't run your car with those mods without it being mapped for them or you'll be looking at a rebuild in no time.

ned to idealy get it mapped if you decat a new age, but it also needs a cel (check engine light) fix to prevent light coming on. first port of call is get it ona dyno and make sure its not runnign lean etc.

Basically he hooks your motor up to a lap top & you go out the road. He'll tell you what sort of runs he wants you to do while he makes adjustments to the ecu settings. He'll check your fuelling, check for det & overboosting.
Then he'll do a couple of power runs & give you a bhp figure.
You'll end up with your car pulling harder from lower revs & generally feeling a lot more driveable. But the big advantage is it's running safely for your mods & whatever grade of fuel you are using.

For 350bhp (well anything about 320bhp really) then a fmic is ideal on a classic, if you wanted more power then you will need bigger injectors, turbo (vf35's are ideal), your clutch may well suffer, a dry panel filter, uprated fuel pump and really some uprated brakes.
