should i get single port or twin port?

 

Get a 3-port Fuelab. That way you've got a quality, long-lasting bit of kit, that covers either an in-series, or parallel! , fuel rail set up....

 

It's worth noting though that you can still run parallel fuel rails with a single port by just T-ing it off.

I was advised by Lateral to stick with a single port and it would be fine if i did decide to go parallel in the future.

As above though for for the fuellab, I got the mini in black and it looks so good!

True.

But it is 'better' to have dedicated feeds to both sides of a 3-port... esp. seeing as the Fuelab 2 and 3 porters are the same price, anyway!!! (just that the mini version is about £10 dearer than the regular).

 

* Mounting bracket, bolts, nuts, washers, etc.
* Screw-in Adjustable bit that goes in the top (adjusts pressure)
* Screw-in barbed nipple for vac line
* Screw-in blank (so as to run the 3-port as a '2-port')


You need to add fuel lines with -6 (or -8) fittings... plus a 7bar/100psi gauge for initially setting pressure.

If you buy it from Lateral he supplies the FPR with a gauge - c.£190 for the regular size, or c.£200 for the mini version...

 

Sorry for the ressurection, but could anyone please elaborate why using two ports on the FPR is better than T-ing both fuel lines into one and using the single port ?
Given that you have a parallel rail setup of course.

The reason i ask, is that T-ing the lines and running them into a single port gives me more options for location.
