Hi, have you been playing with the boost by any chance? there is a ignition cut on the standard ecu which comes in at 17 psi. mine used to do it especaliy in the higher gears as you are getting more ram air effect from the forward speed. i changed to an apexi fc plus other things!!!

As I320 says it sounds like you're hitting the fuel cut. Either it isn't as standard as you think (probably a manual boost controller stuck in it somewhere) or there's some sort of issue causing it to overboost.

Given you're so new to the car, the quickest way of getting this diagnosed is probably to take it to a specialist. If the car has a boost gauge, what sort of pressures are you seeing when you floor it?
