Snapped bolt in cambelt cover...
Howdo, started with a cambelt change on my my00 and i've hit a snag... One of the 10mm bolts holding the cover on has snapped (I barely touched it ma'lord!) and I can't find a way to remove it and the cover wont come off :jeez:
I've got all of the other bolts out (bar the one that's hiding behind the crank pulley) but once the hidden one is out, will the left hand cover come off with the middle section? You can see the aforementioned headless bolt in the middle of this pic...
Any hints / tips to remove it, that DONT involve a drill as whilst I've got the radiator out, the a/c condensor is in the way

once the covers are out of the way you maybe able to a pair of mole grips on the remainder of the bolt, that is assuming it hasn't snapped flush.... if it has then it is the drill iam afraid mate.

There is no thread on the front of the cover just a lead, the thread is on the rear plastic cover, so if you remove the two remaining 10mm bolts the cover will slide of.
