what model and year car?

If you mean which side, it is usually the drivers side, it can be easily fixed by removing cleaning up the old one and reinstalling using a good gasket sealant

You can replace for peace of mind if you want but the new one should be installed with gasket sealant anyway to prevent te problem happening again

no sorry, only that as standard you should have a phase 1 engine, most factors search on the chassis number.

As Zen has said, the main gasket around the cam cover is 13270AA062

You would also need the 2x gaskets which seal the spark plug appertures which carry a part number of 13293AA051.

If you want to renew the sealing washers for the fixing bolts then you would need 6x 13271AA051.

I'm not sure who would be the cheapest, but you could try some of the specialists on here or hunt on the internet for a deal.

FYI the current UK retail prices from an official dealer are:

13270AA062 = £16.12

13293AA051 = £7.07 ea

13271AA051 = £ 3.33 ea

Yea fine to drive, just a bit smokey and smelly...

If you wan't to go to a Subaru dealer, then any dealer will do as the price is fixed by Subaru.

If you don't know where your local Subaru dealer is, then go to Home | Subaru (UK) Ltd Official Website and click the "shopping tools" tab and then load the "dealer locator"
