I have a 95 WRX marked up on the front and back as STi. It does not have the red manifold, Ive looked at Chris Reeves book 'You and Your Subaru' and it says that early STi's were modifications of the WRX model until 22/8/95. I have a copy of 'Fast Car', June 99, with a feature on a car identical to mine (without mods) same engine bay with silver manifold. Does anybody have one like this or can give me more info?

Probably an STI1 , you're right, standard WRX taken by STI and BREATHED on, some suspension mods , strut brace, STI interior etc putting out around 240/250 bhp. Check out SIDC site regarding chassis numbers etc to confirm.

It sounds like mine, silver manifold. Check the chasis codes on SIDC site. It should be about 250. Has it got the ic water spray?
