Hi just got my first impreza 2 weeks ago and loving it
Its a 2002 WRX saloon in dark blue completely standard

Ok now for the newbie questions be gentle lol

Is the sti backbox any deeper sounding than the standard WRX one, only asking as been offered one off a friend

Or would changing the centre section make a difference

I work shifts and as much as i want a burble need to try and keep it down for the curtain twitchers lol

The STI genome backbox is usually rated as one of the best sounding, if that's what you're friend is offering. Deep and burbly, but fairly well suppressed at low-revs, if you're worried about neighbours.

Plenty of sounds clips, pics and so on, on Youtube etc.
