hi all have been told the head gasket has gone on the car due to over heating in the past but now the car smokes from the heater vents quite bad to be honest, hot steam all inside the car and i have been told it smokes from the bonnet scoop and so on... have been told by a garage that the heater matrix is gone is that right?? and a mate of mine thinks that this could also be the cause of the over heating so the head gasket may not be gone but personally i think it has, as the car misfires when coming on boost and rejects water when the engine gets warm and a big power loss from engine itself.

need help as the car is in the garage awaiting my thumps up to get the head gasket done.

Sounds like head gasket, had the same thing recently.

On boost it misfires like a beauty, this is due to water getting in and not sparking.

Thats exactly what happened to mine recently, steam on the inside of the car from the blown heater matrix.

Now its time for the heads to come off

get a garage to do a block test not the machine ones as there rubbish but the old fashion type with the liquid that will let you now for sure if your heads gone
